Panoramic Patagonia, with Papa.

From a fast moving bus, trees in Patagonia. They're all kind of beat up.

Tourist trap. The Mildoon Cave. Big (30 meters high, 80 meters long, 200 meters deep), but not very impressive.

Did I mention it is big? The little dots are people.

Inside looking out. Sure wish I had a tripod to try a high dynamic range merge.

Inside the Mildoon cave was a timid, or completely rabid, fox. He didn't move through a flurry of 4 sets of camera flashes. This photo, without flash. I don't do flash...just high ISO.

Spectacular example of a beat up tree in Patagonia. Yes, the lowest branch sticks straight out from the trunk and turns abruptly up. Near the top, is another large branch sticking straight out.

More nightmarish Patagonia trees.

The three turbines at Carlos Ibáñez Military Air Base, Punta Arenas, Chile. Sorry, Behn, they keep parking you near the AVGAS.

Distance sign post in Punta Arenas. A two-photo panoramic that I didn't think would work.

Top view of Punta Arenas. It looks like a wonderful colorful place....

...but after walking around, probably in the run down dreary section of town, all I found was a fruit shop.
